Hello!
This is Crystal Green and I'm the Programme Assistant at the University of Jyvaskyla for the EMSEP and Seppro programmes. Apologies that your previous emails to the University were unanswered.
For students studying at the Unviersity of Jyvaskyla, the main differences between the Seppro and EMSEP programmes are:
1) an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is offered for the EMSEP programme; no scholarships are offered for the Seppro programme
2) EMSEP has a mandatory mobility period to Leipzig University in the 2nd semester; there is no mandatory mobility period for the Seppro programme
3) EMSEP leads to two officially recognized M.Sc. degrees (in the case of Jyvaskyla, a Master of Sport Sciences, major: Sport and Exercise Psychology and Master of Science in Sport Science, major: Diagnostic and Intervention); the Seppro programme leads to a Master of Sport Sciences, major: Sport and Exercise Psychology
Students in the EMSEP and Seppro programmes take their courses together and follow the same curriculum while at the University of Jyvaskyla. Both programmes are open to students of all nationalities.
There are a lot of options for PhD studies in the Faculty of Sport Science at the University of Jyvaskyla. If you are interested in sport psychology then you would choose your research topic accordingly and receive your PhD in Sport Psychology.
The information posted here by Sammy, Upphew and MideD is all correct.
