Anybody fancy a bit of Kart racing?

Post by Makka » Mon Mar 15, 2004 6:56 pm

Hey peeps!

I'd really like to go kart racing, care to come along? There's a cool track in Myllypuro, close to the tube. Check it out http://www.formulacenter.com

Let me know if you'd be interested, and when would be a good time to go (evenings/weekends?).

Wohooooo!!!

I'd prefer any Sat or Sun (not 27th, tho') - could be combined with a couple of pints afterwards?

I'd be interested, Go-karting's Great fun!

It would be particulary good if we could get enough people interested, for an exlusive booking for a gran prix 8)

re cost

Post by Makka » Mon Mar 15, 2004 9:02 pm

It's 8 EUR/10 mins, including proper gear, lap times and insurance. 10 mins doesn't sound like much but everyone who's tried it knows it's a real (labour) intensive 10 mins & you'll be all knackered after that.

Alternatively, if we're at least 4 people, we could do a 'mini GP', which is 20-25 minutes, and includes all the above plus time trial and final. That's for 20 EUR per head.

I don't even have a driver's license - do you think they'd let me loose on their track

Me and Anna are in. Both of us! (not in the same car!)

Just not the weekend of 27th of March (we're in Lapland then) nor 7-12th of April (we're in Holland then).

Any time else is fine (especially weekends so we can recover from the G's and not having to go to work the next day with a terrible muscle ache  ).

Fine with me! Not too early in the afternoon tho. If all goes right we're having a little party on Friday night before...

If you will agree on a place and date / time (call them to make sure there is free slots.) I will try to be there.
