Minimun hour and salary per month to get a type A visa?

Post by holonono » Tue Mar 29, 2011 6:09 pm

Right now I am working for a small IT company, which offers me 75 hours per week and the hour rate is 18. The contract has no ending time.

Can I use this contract to get a type A visa? I am currently a student who will graduate soon. I also have other contracts, but they all have a ending time, guess they are not suitable to type A visa.

What is the minimun hours and salary per month to get a type A visa?

75 hours per week? I thought they banned slavery.

Visa is for visiting, residence permit is for residing.

- As a student you're allowed 25 hours per week. But if you're graduating soon this might not be a problem.
- 75 hours/week is not a normal working contract. I suppose it even violates the working time/resting time regulations.
So it cannot be a permanent situation. My guess is that the contract will be judged on a 36 hour basis. (which might also reduce the hourly wage)
