CONDENSED MILK: where to buy

Hey everyone.
I live in tampere and looking for the condensed milk in a can. I have gone to :
[*]Lidl
[*]Prisma
[*]CityMarket
[*]Sokos
[*]Valinatalo
I have not found it

Please if anyone bought it before, direct me to the shop. Thanks

Sweetened condensed milk is available at Prisma (somewhere in the corner by the cheese, milk and margarine, I think), CM (in Turtola behind the fruit/veg in the American/Mexican/French/Russian section), Sokos (don't know where after their remodel), Stockmann (just to the left of the milk next to the beer) etc. The most common brand looks like this: http://www.kakkusankarit.fi/Kondensoitu-maito

If you meant evaporated milk instead, then I've never seen that in Finland.

Both condensed and evaporated available at Vii Voan Hämeentie/Hki - and probably some of the other similar shops there

I have bought Condensed Milk in Citymarket in Turku... I found it by accident in the same section as the coconut milk and Thai sauces... so I guess they consider it an exotic food

No - that's where you get a result similar to evaporated milk - depending on ratios of water to powder etc.

Condensed milk has added sugar.

And I really think it is not just a question of 'milk' - 'water' - and 'sugar' - the production processes can conceivably affect taste.

There MAY BE significant taste differences depending on brands, etc. Condensed is a significant ingredient in Key Lime Pie and there 'taste' is going to be very important.

In Hämeenkatu there is one store selling,and it's quite cheap.
go to Hämenkatu street going way to library (on left side). After one small K Market will find one store, they are from Iraque if I'm not wrong. It's near one Japanese restaurant aswell...

Also, in Lielahti (I think is LöytöTalo). It's in front of K-CityMarket, there sells 1euro!
