How to sell things in huuto.net?
How to sell things in huuto.net?
I just opened a shop in huuto.net some days ago, selling bracelets and scarfs out there, so far I see it's not so easy, only one buyer for around one month, I wonder how people selling things in huuto.net? Is it so slow? Bit different from ebay I guess, isn't it? Could anyone give me some advice to get better sale in huuto.net? Thank you so much and have a good day...
Re: How to sell things in huuto.net?
huutonet is no good to sell new stuff.
Its mainly used things that go there. also leftovers from building sites go fairly well or car parts. i don´t think huuto net is a good platform to run a serious business.
It´s good to get rid of unwanted bits and pieces

You should be using MadeBy: http://madeby.fi/. It's a Finland-based arts, crafts, clothing etc. online shop. My wife has had a good deal of success with it so far, even though the site is quite a young venture. It has options for both English and Finnish.

@luzuzulu , thank you for your advice, I guess you are right, old things are sold out there more than new ones, maybe I better switch to some other places for selling my items...
@chrisryan, thank you for your recommendation, I had a glance at that site, looking good, maybe I would give it a try... By the way is there any fee for using that site to sell items? And how the payment is made? Paypal, bank transfer, etc.?

They take a percentage, according to my wife. They transfer it via bank. They are regular in their payments, and it seems like a fair arrangement in terms of what your cut will be. She's made a decent amount from the site, much more than a place like Etsy.com, which is enormous.lindacnfi wrote:@luzuzulu , thank you for your advice, I guess you are right, old things are sold out there more than new ones, maybe I better switch to some other places for selling my items...

Hi Chrisyan, thanks for the info, ok I'll study that web site in detail, might work good for me, let's see... Ok in huuto.net people also prefer bank via, not something new to me, won't be difficult to do... Etsy.com? Never heard of it, actually I'm new to online selling things...
Re: How to sell things in huuto.net?
Consider moving the bracelets from "Muut korut" to the "Rannekorut"-category.

Hi Chrisyan, I registered in madeby.fi quite couple of days ago, but they haven't sent me confirmation email yet, I also filled the contact form in the site, still no reply, and searched the site, didn't find any contact phone number at all... Is the site still active? I really wonder why they work so slow?lindacnfi wrote:Hi Chrisyan, thanks for the info, ok I'll study that web site in detail, might work good for me, let's see... Hi Harakka, thanks for the advice, but I figured out that huuto.net is not a fast site, so far I just sold one koru, half year already, can't appreciate much, I wonder how other people run business in huuto.net...harakka wrote:Consider moving the bracelets from "Muut korut" to the "Rannekorut"-category.
