Complaint of the dishonest and offensive service of a firm

Post by Kalina » Thu Sep 08, 2011 5:01 pm

Hello!

I was wondering would anyone be able to help me find the right agencies to which I may turn in order to make a serious complaint against one firm of which I had the bad luck to be a client.
They acted and behaved in a real rude and insulting manner. Additionally, they did not take into consideration my busy schedule in regard to the delivery of my purchase, they changed the appointed time twice although I clearly informed them about my availability, and finally, after I wished to cancel the purchase and its delivery due to the total disrespect I received, they declared that they will not give my money back to me, and that I had to buy anything else then. What is the most disturbing though, is the fact that they didn't issue any legal piece of document describing the purchase and the money they received from me. This actually is the major reason for my complaint, not to mentioned again the arrogant and very insulting behaviour and words that were used to address me. The store is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki, and it deals with the retail of second-hand furniture and other household stuff. I would advise all of you to avoid this place, there are many others with much better customer services, I bet!
So should I turn to the Tax authorities or anywhere else?
Thanks.

Take a chill pill - (sadly enough) you're probably not paying enough to get good service.

Well, you can try to ask the Consumer Agency about the issue.

I hope you will get it sorted out.

Second hand shops often are not entrepreneurs but are associated with institutions like the salvation army or the red cross.
They run mainly on volunteers and because of that are less flexible. (delivering schedule)
When you want to buy second hand stuff and behave like a full paying customer, you might hit the wrong button with the volunteers.
