Question about family visa

Post by nather » Wed Nov 16, 2011 10:46 pm

Hello guys. I have one question maybe someone could help me for the answer.
I am now working in Finland with Visa A, and my wife is studying in the University with family visaA. If I decide to leave Finland to other country for a new job, but my wife wish to stay here to finish her study. Then what will happen for her residence visa? And another question is now my wife can get the benefit for I am paying the tax, if I leave what will happen?

She would need to apply for the next permit on her own right. If it is based on studies. If one's permit is based on studies, then you are not typically ´considered part of the social security system. I don't know if there is special consideration for cases of "downgrade" like this.
