Help: Moving my horse to Helsinki!

Hi all!

I will be likely moving to Helsinki in a couple of months. On top of all the mess I have a horse I will take along.... I need to know about stables nearby Helsinki, the prices and whether they accept stallions (I have been told in many places they do no accept stallions, even if they behave extremelly well as mine)

I have been searching but could not find any information neither on stables were to keep your own horses, nor on prices. My best guessing on pricess is 700-850€/month

Any help on this matter is welcome!

I have no idea of the prices or whether there are stables which would meet your requirements but here’s a search for stables near Helsinki in Fonecta.fi, maybe that would help:

• hevostallit (max. 75 km distance from Helsinki)

For example, Ratsutila Wikner announces they have “Tallipaikat yksityishevosille”.

I know it can be a bit of a nightmare trying to keep a stallion here, most places won't take them at all

One thing you could try is to get in touch with people who are into Iberian horses here, they would be more used to stallions and less prejudiced against them, try the finnish lusitano association info(at)fial.com or the Iberian horse association sunhorse(at)sunhorse.fi

A friend told me they pay 450 € per month for stables in Hyvinkää.
