2 jobs simultaneously
Is it legal to do a part time job in addition to a full time permanent job? (those timings are not conflicting though)
My full time job's contract didn't say anything which objects 2nd job but is there any specific column in collective labor agreement or somewhere mentioned?
How many hours one can work legally ?

Normally, it shouldn't be a problem (unless the two jobs are in the same field and maybe you have in your working contract that you can't work for the competing companies, etc). You will pay more taxes on the second job though, so just make sure that it's really worth it to do it.

Taxes are calculated from the annual income. If you tax your primary job enough, you can have 0% at the secondary job.interleukin wrote:Normally, it shouldn't be a problem (unless the two jobs are in the same field and maybe you have in your working contract that you can't work for the competing companies, etc). For those for an employment based residence permit, there could be restrictions attached to that (that would apply even to secondary, jobs I presume).
Based on the other question and thread, if the OP has a permanent permit, then definitely no problem with that either.
(About taxes: the taxes are based on the total income, so the (final) taxes for the increased income are the same whether you get them from a secondary job or through increased salary of the first one. A quick check with the tax office calculator says (as an example) that if one lives in Helsinki and is not paying a church tax that the marginal tax rate for somebody having an average to moderately high income in a rather wide range would have the marginal tax rate of about 40% (+/-2%). Additionally 5.75% goes to mandatory pension and insurance fees.)

Re: 2 jobs simultaneously
Thank you all for your answers!
@Rip, I have a 4 years work resident 'A' permit. Is there any web link which says about that restrictions?
Regarding tax, (gross salary at job1 + gross salary at job2) * 12 is the taxable income, right?
Could you give an example in detail about the tax suppose if one make 4000€ at job1 and 1500€ at job2? (lives in Helsinki, not paying a church tax)
I did roughly like this as 66000€ (5500 * 12) as annual income and tax is 30% and 5.75% (pension and unemployment insurance deductions) so monthly 5500-35.75% ~ 3534 is take home salary monthly.
Is my calculation right?

Your calculation is correct, imo. With 48k per annum your take home salary would be about 2750. Thus you can either change the taxation of your primary job or pay about 50% of the job2 to taxes.ganesh1309 wrote:Regarding tax, (gross salary at job1 + gross salary at job2) * 12 is the taxable income, right?

Close enough (Lomaraha could make that *12.5)ganesh1309 wrote: Regarding tax, (gross salary at job1 + gross salary at job2) * 12 is the taxable income, right?
With two jobs I think the basic version is that you'd have (same online calculator, I leave here out the constant 5.75%) 25.5% tax rate set for 48000 income, and then you'd have a secondary tax card with a rate of 39.5%, that would be applied for the 18000 € earned from the other job. That would be a total 12240 + 7110 = 19350 € of taxes taken out of your gross salaries. With these numbers the tax office would then further ask you to pay 450€ (plus tiny interest) at the end of the following year to get to the 30% of 66000 (=19800€) you calculated originally.I did roughly like this as 66000€ (5500 * 12) as annual income and tax is 30% and 5.75% (pension and unemployment insurance deductions) so monthly 5500-35.75% ~ 3534 is take home salary monthly.
