bloody hell, well i've neve been unemployed in my life i thought it was these peoples jobs to get you a bloody job!!

Unemployment offices cannot create jobs out of the void, and there is around 8% unemplyment in Finland (and around 12% unemployment and much lower salaries in Estonia, so many people were and are coming from there).

When there are 10 equally qualified people for 9 jobs and you are the one who doesn't speak Finnish, then guess who is the one who doesn't get a job.

If you expect to find a job within 3 months in Finland you will likely be disappointed.

If your main objective is to be with your girlfriend, you are aware that finding work will be a hard task, and you can accept that for some time after the 3 months you two might have to live from your girlfriend's salary, then come to Finland and you will in the long run get along here and find work.

Naah, its their job to make life being unemployed so demeaning so that the continuous frustration and annoyment of having to deal with them will cause 90% of those subject to their devices pluck their thumb out of the proverbial and find a job, any job, just to not to have to deal with the unemployment office. For the 10% that are in reality unemployable, as said, there are these employment schemes. One job available is at the unemployment centre as a councellor. You figure it out
