Unemployment offices cannot create jobs out of the void, and there is around 8% unemplyment in Finland (and around 12% unemployment and much lower salaries in Estonia, so many people were and are coming from there).SJB wrote:bloody hell, well i've neve been unemployed in my life i thought it was these peoples jobs to get you a bloody job!!
When there are 10 equally qualified people for 9 jobs and you are the one who doesn't speak Finnish, then guess who is the one who doesn't get a job.
If you expect to find a job within 3 months in Finland you will likely be disappointed.
If your main objective is to be with your girlfriend, you are aware that finding work will be a hard task, and you can accept that for some time after the 3 months you two might have to live from your girlfriend's salary, then come to Finland and you will in the long run get along here and find work.
