K-rauta, Bauhaus, Starkki etc. should have hiekoitushiekka too. Then the Plantagen seems to have something to offer too, search for hiekoitus.

Although at first glance you might think the label in Upphew's photo shows sand ("sand for sanding," literally) when you look at the vertical text it clarifies that the bag contains crushed rock (sepeli, also known as murske, with a granularity of 3-6 mm). Seems to be exactly what you had in mind.
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

Indeed the name "hiekka" is a bit misleading as it was in my childhood last time I saw sand used, but the name has stuck.
