buying chocolate in wholesale rate?

Post by Oombongo » Wed Mar 27, 2013 7:44 pm

This might be quite a n00b question or might not be but anyways I decided to fire it here.
I'd like to buy a few kgs of Fazer chocolate, and I wonder if it is possible to buy them in wholesale rates in Helsinki region.
(Pay the shop prices might be a bit too much and I am being a miser)

Cheers!

the concept of wholesale is virtually nonexistent in Finland...there are two large 'wholesellers' - one each for K- and S-Markets. Kespro (supplying the K-Markets) only offers you 'better' prices with an annual turnover north of 20'000€, below that you often pay more then at the K-Market.
So don't except to find wholesale prices for a small purchase of 'a few kg's...

You might get a deal from one of the factory shops

I've never been to the Fazer ones, but visited the Brunberg shop in Porvoo about 10 years ago...

Hi,
If I were the OP, I will look around the shops (Tarjoustalo, Lidl, K, S, etc.) and check the prices.
If you want to go even further, Tallinna boat can be considered. I often visit Heino wholeseller, but their chocolate
prices are not remarkably different from Tarjoustalo's.
If you have specific product on your mind, I will find out if Heino drops its price down in big quantity purchase.

For a few kg's you look at the "tarjous" in various supermarkets.
