Marriage with a Finnish girl

Hello All,

I have been a member for a while, but never took the time to read or post anything yet.
I am 23 years old Dutch guy, a pilot by profession, not having a job at an airline yet.

In July I will get married to my girlfriend, who is Finnish.

Does anyone have information about the legal system in Finland? (to be complete: I have a debt due to my studies)
Due to my debt, I want that to me private, so that my wife won't have the hassle of it when I pass away.. (of course I have life insurance etc.)

We are looking to get information about the dutch/finnish legal differences and if we should go to a notary to document that part of the marriage terms.

If my information is correct, we don't have to, but I hope that anyone can provide us with more information?
