Hello dear all!
Here I have this scenario in my life
Me and my wife divorce some 7 months ago we have two children together 5 and 9 years old girl and a boy
we are good friends and don't have any disagreement together things just did not work out for us as a couple.
Now we are moving into the same apartment building me on the first floor and she to the top floor 7th floor
It is great for the children I think and she thinks so also.
But do you find this living to close? What are your thoughts about this?

I guess it will depend on the future happenings of the both of you, whether any future partners you may have will be able to cope with such a thing.
But if it is working out between you all now, then that's alright I reckon. Best thing for the kids, actually.
But the reality is, if you start a new relationship, the person might not to want to live 'so close' to your ex if they don't get along at all. Problem would be to just move out of the flat. You wouldn't have to go far. Just down the street etc. Where I live, my son has several friends who come from divorced families. The parents still live in the same neighbourhood. One child's Mother and Father live just about 100 metres from each other. My ex only lives 4km from my son. My next door neighbour is divorced. She lives on one side of the school her children go to (about 150m from her home) and her ex lives on the other side of the school. It works well.
It can be really beneficial to live close to your ex, as long as you aren't so emeshed in each others' lives. That wouldn't bode well for any new relationship I think.
I think it's infact quite common divorced couples live quite close to each other. At least often in the same neighbourhood.

Yeah, it really can be a challenge. It is said that it takes about ½ of the time of the relationship to get over an ex... It is going to be challenging.
There was recently an article on HS about a couple who divorced and found themselves in the same type of situation: http://www.hs.fi/elama/Ossin+ja+Aaron+k ... 727593961
