Is there any particular reason why Sony Finland doesn't have the Sony internet player with google TV? It's only available at Sony UK and I'm not sure if they deliver to Finland.

Demand. And localization costs. Just a guess from my part.

but if the server checks your IP then you might have trouble accessing content and would need to use a proxy (eg BBC iplayer doesn't work with non UK IP addresses).

Did you click to order from amazon themselves or one of their traders (depending on the stock situation the main "add to basket" button might choose a trader and not amazon uk.

For me I can order it to my address in Finland. even the VAT is recalculated:
