Registering at Medinet

Post by deepupkn » Wed Oct 30, 2013 4:05 pm

Hi all,

I have a nordea bank account. I have kela card also. Now I would like to register at the medinet site to check my laboratory results and other health details. I have net banking with nordea bank. But when I tried to register at medinet it gave me an error stating my account doesn't have some kind of agreement. The same thing happened when I tried to register at MOl.fi. When I checked with the bank representative last (at the time trying to register at mol.fi), they told me that I don't have a Finnish Id (ie a Finnish passport - kindly do note that neither a finnish driving license or kela card will be accepted). So I won't be able to register for mol.fi service. Getting a Finnish passport is pretty much impossible right now, so what can I do? I don't want to register at mol.fi, I just want to register at medinet. Last time the bank rep told me that I need to be permanently registered somewhere in order get access. Now I have this letter from maisratti stating that I have permanent residence in Finland.
I would like to know if this is right and if it only happens with nordea bank.

Note: I am a non-EU citizen.

Thanking you all in advance for your time and replies.
