Yoghurt in tetrapak
Re: Yoghurt in tetrapak
My solution was switching to the buckets
So yeah, If someone has a solution for the tetrapak other than 1) cutting it all open, or 2) throwing away all that yummy yogurt that cannot be shaken out in the end, I am really interested to know, as well!

Re: Yoghurt in tetrapak
I do the toothpaste tube method and fold the bottom flat and squeeze it out upside down.

Re: Yoghurt in tetrapak
Hi, That's a very common problem. The best solution I have heard so far is, when the contents is getting low, pour juice
or such and shake your ass off and make a yoghurt juice.
Pour it into glass and drink.

or, if you don't want to use juice, you can use milk to make the yoghurt a little more fluid

Re: Yoghurt in tetrapak
1- Balance it upside down on a cup/glass and leave it for some minutes
2- but for the part which is stuck on the bottom only solution is to add some milk or any other liquid of your choice and shake vigorously

add water and salt, shake or mix with spoon a lot. You will get what we call ayran. Nice drink.

Or you could always throw the last 1% away - it is equivalent to 2-3cents! Then start on a new and fresher one.
As a stereotypical Englishman abroad,I love tea - but I won't be asking advice on how to dry out and re-use a teabag!!!

It's much more than 1%, especially if it's thick and not that low-fat stuff.
Re: Yoghurt in tetrapak
If we are talking about the layer that sticks and defies gravity / shaking or moving with a spoon/spatula, it is no more than a quarter of a cm. A Tetra Brix (the 1L type) is 27cm hence 1% wastage.
To indulge you, lets say that there is 1cm that somehow defies gravity /shaking / scraping (in which case don't eat it!) then you are at a whopping 10cents of wastage of the oldest part of a €2,50 yoghurt. So do it twice a week and that's equivalent of buying a carrier bag instead of bringing your own or not returning a can of pop to get the deposit. Time better spent elsewhere.

That's one of the sweetest feedbacks we have read in years.
