TAX issue | modifying Tax amount in middle of year

Hi ,

i have my wife in finland ( this is for the dependent visa amount )now and due to unaware of tax legal stuff i was not able to declare all my income source or you can say being consultant i get half amount in finland and half in my home country

as not its almost middle of the year end of tax if i declare increase my amount will it cause me problem and

if yes what are the consequences will i be charged of fine and 100% etc please guide me

i am working as consultant and my company is no registered in Finland

please reply urgent any help will be really good to get hold of situation

This year? You put what you have earned and what you have paid to tax card calculator and it will adjust the numbers for rest of the year.

Since it is the middle of the year you still can modify your tax card, and even not doing so allows you to declare your income at the end of the tax period. Obviously a person with numerous sources of income can not exactly know how much s/he will earn. Tax card is just a nominal indicator of your income for the purpose of day-to-day tax management. Vero sends you a form at the end of the year to finalize your income anyway .

I was just worried if i declare more tax at the end of the year will they consider me as fraud or have penalty on me of for earlier periods

You should definitely get some practical help from the tax people. They speak English and they are not out to rip you off! I have always found them to be really helpful and understanding. I think their main customer service office is in Vantaa. You can book a time to meet someone face to face.

I quite agree with Rosamunda here. So far you have committed no crime, just go and discuss the problem with the tax office. There is one that deals with foreigners , just check the vero.fi
