Admissions Help for Masters Programme

Post by fabotello » Fri Oct 10, 2014 4:28 pm

Howdy!

Hope someone can help me with these couple of questions I have. I'm a Mexican-American student applying to the University of Jyväskylä for a MSc in Corporate Environmental Management. I'm working in getting my application materials in order. Here are my current questions:

1. I have a Resume, but the requirement is a CV. Is there a specific way I should write my CV for Finnish professional or ethical reasons, is there a website or a template I can go by?
2. I've search meticulously online for a motivation letter example for a Finnish school but no luck. Can someone direct me to a website or provide an example?
3. Can I include letters of recommendation on my application (its not required or mentioned)?
4. Is there anything else that can make me more competitive to get accepted (additional documents, contacting the university, on campus visit)?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Fernando

The University of Oulu asks for the Europass format for applications to Masters programmes. I guess it's as good a place to start as any...
