Has anyone used this site before to buy new tires? Are they a well know site here in Finland?

I ordered winter tires from them. they were about 200e cheaper for a set than the regular tire stores. The tires were delivered to an independent garage in vantaa and they fitted the tires. i'd certainly order from them again.

Same here, very good experience. The delivery is to a chosen garage (they have a list of partners) that will fit the tires, but be advised that fitting the tires also costs and there are pretty big price differences between those garages.

yes, it's not obvious but each partner garage (if you have them delivered there and fitted) charges a different price. This isn't shown in the tire order price and you must click each garage you are interested in and read their prices. i did some research and went to each garages website to see what kind of operation they were (how professional was their website) and decided that way.

When I said before they were cheaper I was comparing unfitted tire prices from rengas-online with unfitted tire prices from vianor etc. Both methods will charge you extra for fitting.

Thanks for the info! I have noticed some garages charge extra for "kevytmetallivanteet". What exactly are "kevytmetallivanteet"? Google tranlate says "light alloy wheels".

Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with any of the garages around Espoo/Kirkkonummi?
Some of the low priced shops specifically:
•Auto ja Rengas A+A Auto FiX (Espoo)
•Route 110 (Espoo)
•Autopalvelu Höglund Oy (Kirkkonummi)
•Kilon Autofiksaus Oy (Espoo)

Yes, they are alloy wheels in english (instead of steel wheels). if you have hubcaps then you have steel wheels.

€30 to loosen and tighten a few nuts Jezzes Louise , maybe it's the farm boy coming out in me but I could never imagine paying someone to do that simple a task.

If anything you get bonus free exercise and the job is done in the time it would take you to drive to a garage.

OP if you lived in Tampere I would say bring it over to may place and I'd show you how to do it for the price of a few beers

Well, if you go and buy new tires, you need someone to fit them on some nice and shiny rims, as Pekka Perusautoilija seldom has the required machinery.

I'd like to see how the balancing bits are attached by bubblegum.

Oops somehow I'm in the wrong thread,

Thought I was replying to the guy who wanted his winter tyres changed here....

Yea don't try and change the actual tires yourself, leave that to the garage who will usually do it for free if you buy them there
