Hi,
I had a minor accident last week and now my car has a dent on front. The car is otherwise OK and all lights and signals are working. While I am waiting for the insurance to send a reply to the mechanic and they told me that it is going to take few days as they inspect the costs etc, I wanted to know if I there will be any problem from police if I drive this car in the meanwhile?
On a side note, if the repair cost is 4500 euros while I bought the car at 4000 euros, and if I wanted to take the money instead of repairing the dent, does anyone know how do the insurance calculate the insurance money?
Thanks

Re: Can I drive a car with a big dent on bumper?
Most probably if repair cost is 4000 euros it's not a minor accident. It's not a scratch or dent. If it doesn't look very bad then shouldn't be much of a problem to drive in low speed areas.
Insurance will take the cheaper route, if paying you car's price is cheaper than the repairment they will go for a payment to you otherwise they will just get it repaired for you.
