Speeding camera

Post by horse_meat » Fri Nov 13, 2015 5:53 pm

I think I was bit unlucky...long story short.

The speeding camera flashed today, but there is a car next to me. That car was in the left lane and I am in the right one.
He is obviously faster than me, but never the less mine speed is also 4 km over the limit (84 km/h on a 80 km/h).

I noticed that the camera flashed twice, does it mean both car are caught?
What would be the punishment? Thanks!

4 Km above the limit will only mean a warning.

Depends on where it is,for example there is a zero tolerance road with a big speed measuring board telling you how fast you go, at the beginning of this road, just after Kirkkonummi on the road to Hanko (51). On this road are several camera's and when they flash, you will get an invitation to come to the police office to explain why you drove too fast and pay for it.

Had my picture taken there several times doing 82 83 and 85 ... on the motorbike... so I did not get the invitation... but friends of mine with a car did

On the other hand, Kehä III I always drive 88 on the GPS where you are allowed 80, and 105 where you are allowed 100. The traject-control camera's on Lahti motorintie where you are allowed 120, will start to bug you when you go over 128 on the GPS for a prolonged period, below that...no problems

At least that is my experience.... results in the past are no guarantee for the future 8)
If god would give us the source code, we could change the world
