Helsinki restaurant website: www.eat.fi
Re: Helsinki restaurant website: www.eat.fi
The deal was 30 e per person including starter, main course and dessert - free choice from their menu (excluding lobster and seafood platter). Drinks are extra, only tap water is included.
A good deal - considering that my main course alone was 34 e on the list (Beef tenderloin and lobster).

Hi!
The König restaurant had seafood weeks, where two items on the list were excluded from the meal deal: grilled lobster (Grillattu hummeri) and seafood platter (Äyriäisvati).
The other items on the list could be included in the deal, like the one I took "Surf and Turf" (härän sisäfileetä ja hummeria, Rhode Island- ja bearnaisekastiketta). In that portion there was a small piece of lobster on the plate together with the tenderloin... yummy.
My point was actually to explain how the eat.fi deals work - you get the voucher right away and use it immediately if you want. This was new to me.
- - In other deal programs, like City Deal you have to wait until next day to get the voucher.

The rule really is you can bring with you from other EU as much as you want for your personal use or as a gift. The 10 liters is more of a practical limitation at what point the customs officials will want to get a good explanation on what exactly you're planning to with it.Cognac Boutique Eu wrote: Under the law I can bring to Finland of strong alcohol of 10 liters duty-free.

Eat.fi is a good resource - but be careful - there are a number of phony posts too - 'caveat emptor!'

Totally! There are loads of issues with this website now, the current owners of the website (I think the MTV3 lot) spends no time on maintenance of this site, lots of closed sites and phony posts. It had great beginnings but has been going down hill for a while now. Sadharryc wrote:Eat.fi is a good resource - but be careful - there are a number of phony posts too - 'caveat emptor!'
