How many times can your car fail inspection, and what are the circumstances?
Do they impound it?

It depends how early are you taking it there, if it "fails & interrupts" for something catastrophic (no breaks), fails for stuff "come back and show us" or passes with prejudice (left register light burnt)... If its a catastrophic failure and they stop the inspection, then obviously in theory it can fail again for something else. Cars aren't impounded, rather the register plates taken - most usual reason is unpaid taxes.

Yes. You can check the date from rekisteriote, but you're basically right. It's annual but with new cars you don't have the check up after years 1, 2, and 4.roger_roger wrote: No inspection for 3 years, and before 3 years end do the inspection once and it lasts for 5 years?
