Summer garden/plastic covers

Post by ablo » Fri May 06, 2016 9:58 am

Dear All,
I am looking for cheap thin plastic sheets or cover( black colour is good) to cover some area around my plants. The purpose is to protect them from weeds and grasses. Could anybody suggest or help me in this regard?

It's called Katekangas. Any place with a half way stocked garden section should have it. Try Hong Kong, K-Rauta, Tokmanni etc...

Sorry, I didn't check stock in K-Rauta. The link above is probably a phased out line. This one seems to be more generally available:

K Rauta is very expensive. Hong Kong is better for gardening stuff and even Lidl has the black textile eg for strawberries etc. Also Bauhaus if you have one near you.

We buy our weed barrier textiles by the roll online. Even cheaper, but we use a lot.
