Is It illegal to tke ibuprofin during travel?

My wife has had some surgery in past and because of that she sometimes has a pain. The doctors have suggested that she take penadol when it is a light pain and burana/ibuprofen when the pain is extreme. She does not always need it but once a while

Now if she would take around one box which probably has 20 or 30 tablets, will it be illegal for her to take it. Ofcourse its an over the counter medicine so we dont have any presecription for it

They would not even ask, unless you travel over EU border. Just get a prescription in case if you want to travel outside EU to put your mind at ease. It is not really a "strong" medicine.

Keep the pills in the original contaiber while travelling. 30 pills won't cause any issues, EU or not EU.

I have not heard of issues with Ibuprofen but you should check with regards to the country you are going to. UAE in particular is troublesome with even things like over the counter childrens cough medicine http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/trave ... icine.html
