Hello,

Background:
I applied for a residence permit to work.
After more than 6 months, my status has finally moved to "In Progress".
Here are the status of my application on my "Enter Finland" profile:

1. Waiting for partial decision.
2. Waiting for processing.
3. In Progress
4. Decision is Ready.

Question:
Is the step 4 to be made by the Employment Office or by Migri?
I mean does the step 4 above mean "Partial decision is ready" or "Final decision is ready" ?
If it refers to the partial decision then the step 4 is done by the Employment Office, if not then it the step 4 is made by Migri.

Migri is the authority that handles the immigration issues. Employment office handles the employment related issues. You are applying for a residence permit, so Migri is the authority that handles you permit.

Thank you for the response, but Migri does not decide on whether I am allowed to work or not. It is the Employment Office that asseses the labor market and gives a partial decision about my application.

So I am just wondering if the step 4 above ("Decision is ready") corresponds to "Partial decision is ready" -which thing means the step 4 is done by the Employment Office) or "Final decision is ready" -meaning it is Migri that decides about the step 4)

it refers to "Final decision is ready", so it it's done by Migri.
