Where can I get good recommendation for a new pair? I was not at all impressed with the lack of indoor soccer shoes at XXL, stadium and intersport around the central railway station!!

Use Google translate to see what running shoes are in Finnish (if you don't know already), then use Google to search for those, you'll get plenty of hits for shops selling them.

I know they have running shoes but I was looking for a shop who know what they are selling. Like a running store with a more personalized fit

I thought Intersport would have staff that knows what they are selling. They do give 30 days guarantee (they change them, not money back)to shoes they sell and also seem to do personalized footbalance insoles. So maybe pester some other salesperson until you get one who knows more about running and is willing to discuss it in english.

Running shoes are juoksukengät.
There is one nice shop (juoksulabra) at Iso Omena shopping mall (Matinkylän metro). They sale barefoot running shoes if you like that style. The service is good and they speak English

Are you looking for running shoes or indoor socker shoes? Those are quite different. If you're looking for the former and don't yet know what you want, I suggest 4runners in Helsinki (kluuvi). They don't have the greatest selection, but some very knowledgeable staff. For indoor soccer shoes, I would indeed recommend XXL - but don't look in the running shoe section, the indoor shoes are separate.
