Has anyone ever got ‘Submission of original passports’ as supplement request?

I got that request as a supplement request for citizenship application.

Yes, they required mine, probably because I renewed my passport some months after submitting the application. Migri held the new passport for almost 4 months.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I believe they asked for mine for the same reason that my passport is relatively new and doesn’t cover most of the time I was here in Finland.

How many months did it take in total, after applying, to get the decision? I mean they kept your passport for four months but how long it took in total?

This 4 month thing is scary man ! I mean they asked for the passport after 7 month and now are they supposed to keep it for four more months? What if I want to travel?

No. They kept okonri's passport for almost four months.

I mean they have asked for my passport after 7 month of waiting. Did they ask for his passport also after 6-7 month? Did they make decision before he got his original passport back?

Because if they kept my passport for 4 months, it would be 11 month after the date of application and I can’t travel either. That’s a bit scary though

It's exactly one year today since the application entered the queue. It's still "in progress". I pissed off the lady handling my application by repeatedly asking for my passport back. XD

Man that’s scary that you haven’t got the decision yet. I can’t afford to have my passport kept for 4 months because I have to travel soon Why did they take 4 month?
