Where to Launch an appeal against Migri decision

Post by finlandapua » Wed Sep 11, 2019 8:28 am

Hi

I have been served with a negative decision for residence permit as spouse of a someone living in Finland with work residence permit. I applied from a non eu country.
My question is where should I send the appeal?
The letter sent by Migri says that the decision made can be changed by a administrative court (hallinto-oikeuteen).

then it says that it have to filed within 30 days.

Then the letter says that "Viranomainen, jolle valituskirjelma on toimitettava"
"valituskirjelma on toimitettava Mahanmuuttovirastolle"
meaning that appeal should be forwared to Migri.

Does it mean that
I have to find a admin. court to file an appeal.
or only send the appeal to migri
or send appeal to admin court and also forward it to migri

or send appeal to migri who will review it

kindly help

Have you resolved the issue or was there a mistake in your application?

This is the best question here. If you don't have available funds then appealing it's a waste of time. If you do have them then maybe you need to provide more concise proves.

Some people here aren't really helpful. Never mind, just look for a good lawyer and lodge an appeal, he will direct you on what to do, but remember you need to fix your income because that was the reason for the refusal. Good luck !
