Dear all,
I have a total noob question.
I will be eligible to apply for Finnish citizenship in mid-August 2020. My current residence permit expires at the end of September 2020. Are these two processes independent from each other? In case I decide to apply for Finnish citizenship in August, do I also need to apply for a residence permit at the end of September while the citizenship application is being processed?
I'm trying to figure out if I'm in a hurry to take the YKI test.

You need to apply for both.
