Hi,
I'll be graduating with a LLB in Law from a UK university - How would I go about being a lawyer in Finland? Would I have to take some type of course to get up to date with Finnish laws? (What would this be like? How long would it take? etc.) Or would I completely have to re-do the degree?
What do lawyers in Finland generally need?
Thank you in advance for the information~

You need to contact the appropriate agency since practicing law is a regulated profession in Finland. Here is the link where you can find information and the contact email is at the bottom of the page.

Your Bachelor will not be considered equivalent to a Master of Law, ask universities whether they would accept you into a Masters program.tzaczkaa wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 8:57 pmHi,

Studying law, examinations and working as lawyer are done in Finnish or Swedish.

Common law vs. civil law. So getting up to date might take a little longer I presume.tzaczkaa wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 8:57 pmHi,
