Pension contributions moving away from finland

Post by agksam » Sun Dec 15, 2019 6:20 am

So I have been living in Finland for over four years now but I have been working for four years now and I'm thinking of permanently moving away from Finland. Is there a way I can apply to be paid back all my pension contributions and money that has always been deducted from my salary while I was working.

When you reach retirement age, you can apply for pension from Finland.

I remember once when i asked this to the pension provider here, they said, if they have some kind of agreement (not sure of the exact agreement name) pension can be transferred after some documentation. Exact details i am unsure, but i think your pension provider will be able to help on exact details
