Can I slaughter my animals by myself on my farm?

Hi! I wonder what the law says about slaughtering animals.
- Can I slaughter the animals like sheeps/goats/pigs at home?
- If I can, what's the requirement?
- If I can't, it means I have to go to the slaughter house, how much do they usually charge (average price)?
- Is there any difference between slaughtering the animals for my own family's consumption and for sale?

I wouldn't be so worried. When I lived at farm, we slaughted all animals
ourself what we ate. No one ever came to ask what we are doing...

Only thing, when you kill an animal, don't let it suffer. Kill it as fast
as you can.

I'm going to grow chicken within next 3 year again and I will NOT
even think, what office people think when I'm going to kill month
by month couple chicken... Ax will work fine with chickens.
