Even if you have dealt with things they will stay on your file for some time (though nothing should end up on the record without plenty of notice). Any entries you will have to explain to the bank or you can wait until the record is clean. If there's nothing else problematic, you can probably explain small entries away.toystory wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 3:41 pmI checked my credit history using asiakastieto.fi service.betelgeuse wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 6:04 pmAnswered your double post already here

There are two entries by HSL (Helsinki Transport).
I received a fine for EUR 80 last year and I thought I had paid it.
Will this become a problem for me say in future if I want to apply for a home loan?
Can I rectify this by paying the fine now and somehow delete the entry?
I wouldn't be surprised if it played some part in the marginal they will offer.toystory wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 4:02 pmLet's say in 2 years time I want to apply for a loan and I have been working full time and have 24 payslips to prove regular income and I do not have any negative entries on my file. Do you think that the bank can still look at the 80.00 euro fine and form a negative opinion about giving a home loan or credit card etc.
They are not.
That is stupid... Sorry... In here, EVERY invoices (stuff, loans, rent, electric, water etcetcetc....) have to pay.toystory wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 5:43 pmI am actually very surprised that unpaid bus ticket & parking fines show up on your credit report. I lived in the US and the only thing that ever appears on your credit file is loan defaults -- money borrowed from a financial institution.betelgeuse wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 4:55 pmI wouldn't be surprised if it played some part in the marginal they will offer.
