Tax on investments

Post by deepsudeep » Mon Jan 04, 2021 3:08 am

I wanted to know if one has to file taxes on stock trading or is it automatically processed like regular income tax. I am not sure where to look? In US I used turbo tax online to file my taxes where I could directly upload the trades from robinhood, etc. , so was wondering what's the best way to do it here?
Of course I could ask a tax specialist if there are recommendations
Thanks 👍

Local platforms will automatically file with tax authority. If they are missing, you are required to add the information to your tax return. Basically revisit the question when you get your pre-completed tax return.

When do you get the precompleted tax return? Is it on vero.fi?

Tx!

You will be notified during the spring when it’s available. It will be in MyTax as well.

Is the calculation based on ending Dec 31st or end of Feb?
