Moi,
I'm about to relocate to Helsinki area within the company I work for. Besides all permits and etc. being done what are general requirements to get a car lease in Finland? Google translate was not too helpful in some bank websites.
Let's say I have downpayment of 25%-30% ready and would like to lease a car - are there any requirements that you need to work for 3-6months, letter from employer or anything what would help speeding up the process?
Thanks!

Re: Car lease requirements
No idea. Have you asked for a car from your company? Usually banks don't deal directly with customers in cases of leasing. Try the usual suspects, rental companies or dedicated leasing companies, eg. https://www.hertz.fi/p/en/minileasing or https://www.aldautomotive.fi/en/nuno wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 10:29 amMoi,

Re: Car lease requirements
Getting a non-prepaid mobile subscription can be a problem without a credit history of living several years in Finland, I would be surprised if any company would lease to someone with no credit history at all.
Leasing through the employer is a popular option, or a rental company should be able to tell you what kind of guarantee from your employer they might accept instead.

Then again there are companies renting cars, when renting for a long period it is called leasing. And car rental companies are plentiful.FinlandGirl wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 10:56 pmGetting a non-prepaid mobile subscription can be a problem without a credit history of living several years in Finland, I would be surprised if any company would lease to someone with no credit history at all.
