Cheap corona test for travelling
Can anyone please tell what is the best way for getting PCR report of corona test which is required for travelling?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Cheap corona test for travelling
Not sure if cheap, or if they issue a certificate (they should, but check with them), a service called 9lives keeps on advertising here and in FB corona tests for 45 eur (in reality it can be around 200 under normal circunstances). This is in Hki, city center.

Thank you for your suggestions. I appreciate it.

The best way is to go to private clinic e.g Mehilainen or Terveystalo. It costs about 50eur for the test and 250eur for certificate translated in English. Public healthcare centers may give you appointment to a quick test if you have symptoms but results will be informed via SMS and no document provided.

What of the situation getting the certificate in Swedish? Is that going to affect the price?

Currently, this seems to be the least expensive testing place.

Why a certificate in English would not work instead of Swedish?

Is it possible to get the certificate in Swedish free of charge since I am planning to go to Sweden?

Is it possible to get the certificate in Swedish free of charge since I am planning to go to Sweden? Swedish is also an official language in Finland

To my knowledge, any certificate costs no matter in which language. I am pretty sure Sweden would accept certificates in English as well.
But check their website or call them.

Any cheap corona test in Finland. Planning to take a trip to France. Anyone can recommend any cheap test and certificate?
Re: Cheap corona test for travelling
I'll be travelling at the end of the month to my home country through Germany and I just got to know that even transit passengers are required to provide a negative corona test before being allowed on board.
What I intend to do is to book a trip to Tallinn for a day (costs 31 euro) and to have a test done on my return to Helsinki on the ferry. A day and a half later I'd use that same test at the airport. The test costs 39 euro so the total would amount to 70 euro.
I suppose this sounds like an overkill, but on the other hand, getting charged 200 euro for a test without any good reason feels rather... mono/oligopolistic.

Germany has the test requirements un 12.5.2021 (https://www.bundesgesundheitsministeriu ... lisch.html) let's see if they extend this, but most probably not. They will use areas, Finland is on green side.zoeker2 wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 6:01 pmI'll be travelling at the end of the month to my home country through Germany and I just got to know that even transit passengers are required to provide a negative corona test before being allowed on board.
