How early can we submit the citizenship application? Will there be a problem if we submit like after 3yr and 10/11 months?

Did anyone submit early?
You need to fulfill the residence time requirement by the moment when a decision is made on your application. In the unlikely event that it will happen very fast, you will get declined.

I know people who have waited for 18 months before the decision. I think migri does not have any fix standard when it comes to processing, they are just taking whoever they please :o . Just take it easy and let's wait. For last 3 weeks my queue number moves only about 100. Now I have a queue number of 35xx. Meanwhile a person I know who applied 2 months after me Got decision with queue number 39xx just 2 weeks ago.

Mine also 13 months and still on Stage 1 😔.

It is unfair and inhuman of Migri to behave in such manners. I feel helpless and stress out when I see people receive their decision, but mine not even started. so from now on, I will stop following this forum and comments here. Because the more I read, the more sad I get, more stress and anxiety I feel.

I try to be patient and live my life. I suggest you do so.

You don't NEED citizenship. It's a privilege that you have to earn. So saying that the waiting is "inhuman" and "unfair" is just ridiculous. You need an entire background check to make sure that they aren't going to approve someone who doesn't meet the requirements. It's a decision that is incredibly difficult for them to take back so they have to be sure about everything.

How do you propose that the submission and approval process should go then? But yes, I think if you are suffering some mental anguish from just waiting, even you have the right to live and work here in the meantime. Then the answer is to stop reading this thread and get on with your life in the meantime.
You lack sympathy. Apparently you never been subjected to Racism or Sexism in your life. You have no idea how dose it feel when all your European and Females friends get their decision in 7 months (some even sooner), and you are the only one that his application hasn't been even started.

I don't mind the check and the wait, Migri can check my application as much as they want/need. It's their job and I am totally ok with it. But at least start my application on my queue. That is all I want.

I am working 8 years here, paying a lot of taxes. It is a least my rights to ask a governmental organisation as why my application is not started (meanwhile my friends who applied in same week got theirs application started in December) and get a fair answer. Not just a copy past answer that the processing time is 25 month.

Hi,

Today at 7:50, I recieved my positive decision.
I came 2013 as master student not from countries in the list .
I visited Migri 25.10.2021.
I had recieved 4 emails from Migri automatically.
Seems if you have valid yki certificate no one care about how you are fluent in Swedish or Finnish in interview day.

Hope everyone get results fast and positive.

Congratulations! That was very fast compare to what we see in this forum. Did you have any residence permit application pending that makes your processing fast? Did you have permanent residence or normal residence permit?

Congratulation! What kind of RP did you have when you applied for citizenship?
