There is a gap between the hob and the surface, does anyone know how can I fix it? Is it a normal thing or a symptom of something bigger?
Thanks in advance

Re: Fixing hob gap
Looks like someone forgot silicone around the edges. Nothing more.

Imho that sits way too high. Is the gap same all around? Have you looked at the manual, it might have installation instructions?farfaraway wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 9:37 amAs seen in this photo https://imgur.com/a/SWFIdfz

We unfortunately don't have the manual anymore as it has been too long ago. When we first moved in (2 years ago), there was no gap, the gap only appears recently. The front side of the hob is still firmly attached to the surface.Upphew wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 4:55 pmImho that sits way too high. Is the gap same all around? Re: Fixing hob gap
This sounds like more than silicone missing now that you have provided more details. I would check online for an installation manual. Do you have a level? Is the hob level? If so, then check the countertop.farfaraway wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 1:29 amWe unfortunately don't have the manual anymore as it has been too long ago.
