The queue starting to move around 40 perday.
Really mine move less than 10 per day. My queue number is today 1270 yesterday it was 1276🤣🤣🤣
@mamu you are lucky person (moving 40 per day Woow) mine move moved less than 10 a day. Queue 667

I don’t care anymore if it’s move all over same day. there is a great injustice. I'm trying to deal with other things, I don't think much because there is no other choice but to wait.my queue is 861. You will get decision next week sometimes at least Friday I hope I not wrong I non seen anyone one were under the 500.

All unsurprising. This is what you get under useless governments like the Sanna Marin government. Finland has had completely useless parliament the last couple of years, filled with boomer politicians who sit on their hands and claim everything is someone else's fault or responsibility.

I mean c'mon, look around.

Let's start with students:

1. Privatization of universities - Which used to attract smart and educated people to come and stay here and create jobs
2. Increased student debt - via reduction in student benefits but increase in amount of student loan you can take
3. Increase of student costs - By forcing students to pay yearly for healthcare they may not even need or use
4. Reduction of student benefits countrywide - Decrease of eg. transport subsidy from 50% benefit to 40% and now less
5. The last reform was held in 1970s - Making the system more than 50 years outdated... fifty freaking years.

Now everyone:
1. Reduction in late age earnings - Where literally 85% of pension is made because the person is actually considering their retirement
2. Disability pension increased after being on it for 5 years - Let's just pay disabled more instead of helping them find jobs they can do, so now they have even less desire to ever work
3. 16% increase in food costs year-on-year - As if it wasn't hard enough for eg. students and those in unstable employment and with families to eat already
4. TES agreements getting pushed back and stalled at every turn - Because why should people expect a decent wage?
5. Record number of strikes in the last decade - No one got anything left to do except refuse to work because conditions in public sector suck

Now the usual government shenanigans:
1. Party Sanna - Do I even need to say? On the one hand you got responsible leaders admitting they have alcohol problem, on the other you have "victim" Sanna
2. Finland breaking SGP - Of course these geniuses are spending money we simply don't have
3. Deciding wait, for no reason let's throw even more of our money away to Africa which we will never see again. We already seen none back, but let's toss more
4. Deliberately failing the basic/universal income trial - By knowingly giving the money only to people who have been unemployed already for 5+ years who have no intention or ability to work at all
5. National corruption average increase from 5 points to 13 points in 10 years - Great to see corruption flourishing in Finland with new scams popping up all the time and nothing being done about it
6. Joining NATO - Yes let's piss off our neighbor whom we had decent relations with by joining the world's largest warband who persecutes Palestinians, Arabs, etc. and commits war crimes in Libya, Syria and wherever else the USA wants, now we can also send our troops to die in other countries for oil or proxy wars

Remember that YOU voted for this. You vote for parties that put the affairs of others before yourselves. You vote for parties that emancipate yourselves. Then you complain about it.

Honestly I am glad that none of the people in this thread can vote (yet) as likely the downward slide only hastens when some of the people in this thread get voting rights. Finland was a great place to live 10 years ago, before the whining Wolt and Foodora generation landed here. Now you wonder why inflation is soaring and why systems have been cut back piece by piece. You wonder why government services immediately and officially translated websites like Migri into Ukranian in barely 3 months when it took 15 years to do it in English.

Because you vote for and push services that completely cater to people who haven't the first idea about Finland.

Before people complain and make assumptions about my background.

1. I am white
2. I am making over 8000€ a month before tax (not including my wife's income)
3. I have no kids
4. I am married
5. I am not a Finnish citizen (yet) like most people I am waiting over a year (and I stopped looking at my queue number 2+ month ago)
6. I have never committed a crime
7. I have lived in Finland for over 10 years
8. I speak fluent Finnish and Swedish
9. I have no debts
10. In the last 10+ years I have helped literally hundreds of good, hard working people emigrate to Finland

My advice. This country is fast going down the drain. When you get citizenship, start looking elsewhere. My wife and I have already basically decided that we don't want to raise kids here. The education system is a complete shadow of what it once was. Why I would live here when I can make this money and go live in Portugal and buy a house in front of a beach somewhere and not have to think about my country being run by a stupid lady who won't grow up and spends every weekend clubbing.

I say again. YOU voted for this. LEFT LEFT LEFT LEFT every single time. You voted for policies that strip you of your rights because you've been cooked into thinking that if you voted any other way, just once. That somehow they'd literally just close the borders and stop all immigration and the entire world would end or something equally ridiculous. Well the world has ended, it's a slow and pathetic death by leftist socialist policies thanks to idiots. This place was THE dream country 10 years ago. High speed internet, plenty of space, good public services. Hah, all pissed away on SDP votes. Now our tax dollars are paying so people with mental illness can take hormone blockers and cut off their genitals, because we better not offend anyone!

Really makes you think! :lightbulb:
The average Somali and Iraqi costs Finland €12,000 per person, per year.

High salary man, chill. Did you read the far right agenda (PS)?

You're making some bold claims about the Finnish government and society without providing any relevant evidence to back them up.

First of all, it's unfair to blame all of Finland's problems on the Sanna Marin government or any specific group of politicians. Finland is a democracy, and every citizen has the right to vote who they want and participate in the political process.

Your claims about the education system and the government services are simply not true. Finland has one of the best education systems in the world, and the government services are generally efficient and well-run. Of course, there's always room for improvement, but to say that they are "a complete shadow of what they once were" is just plain wrong.

You also seem to be blaming the "Wolt and Foodora generation" for Finland's problems. This is narcissistic, racist (surprisingly from an imigrant), unfair and divisive. They have contributed a great deal to Finnish society, paying taxes and it's honest work, and the younger generation has brought new ideas and energy to the country. Blaming them for inflation and other economic problems is simply misguided. Inflation is WORLD problem and not caused by any government.

Suggestion that we should leave Finland and go live in Portugal is not helpful. Finland is a great country with many opportunities, and it's up to all of us to work together to make it even better. Instead of giving up and leaving, we should be working to create a better future for ourselves and for future generations.

Please revise your facts, be constructive and work towards solutions instead of just complaining and blaming others.

I'm looking forward to get my citizenship and have the ability to vote.

Today marks the end of yet another month. Anybody else get a decision this month? If not I guess there’s about 5 hours more for someone possibly getting a decision. Otherwise, we try again next month 😄. Fingers crossed and hope for the best.

We hard hope for March and sadly it's ending without any positive news. I am entering my 21st month since I applied. The queue moved very very slow in March and I Hope April will bring good news.

The waiting is killing all of us

It seems so random the way Migri is handling all applications.
I applied in June last year, and I knew three people who applied after me and got their decisions in approximately 5 months. But yeah, they just tell it is 27 months and there is a long queue. What makes some applicants jump over others and get processed quickly? No one knows. I know it is very stressful and disappointing for those who are waiting from 2021 or even 2020. It is not fair when you feel the system is not equal and so random!
We have to wait, no other option.
Have a blessed weekend everyone!

This is a great injustice I have experience since moving to Finland 12 years ago. I have never seen a system so bias like this one...

Anyway we wait till we get the decision then move out. Very simple. Have a wonderful weekend

I started to like you :)

But PS ( what is considered right on Finnish scale) policy is based on fear mongering , they offer little to none solutions.
So can you please show how PS or Kokoomus can solve the problems you mentioned?

By the way I still didn't cast my vote.
