Interpretation of the sentence

I am in a situation where I have to claim an unpaid sum of money by submitting a document. I am having a hard time understanding/interpreting some sentences/words and trying to figure out what is the question demanding. For example,

Under the 'Vaatimukset' section where I put the claimed amount there is a sub-section which asks:

`Vaatimusten perusteet`: what does this mean?

I have already filled out how much I need to claim in the pääoma section.

It means justification for the claim, i.e., the basis on which you're making the claim.
