Meanwhile, 15th month of waiting has started

Applied in September 2022, pretty stressful, because we currently have YT negotiations, so you never know the outcome…

Is there a specific reason in your case for such lengthy processing? Is your country on the list?
Did you arrive in Finland without a prior residence permit (RP)?
Do you have a valid passport?
Is this a refugee case?

I have been in Finland for 12 years and my country is not on the list. I came here as student bachelor and then master degree. I am a senior engineer in one of the biggest firm in Finland with high salary. No criminal record and also married to a finn with 2 kids

. My case is very straightforward and they do not give me any reason

. I have PR and a valid passport too
The only thing I hear is this
Tällä hetkellä ne kansalaisuushakemukset, jotka on jätetty toukokuun 2021 lopussa, ovat käsittelyssä. Tämän perusteella arvioisin, että hakemuksesi käsittely voisi alkaa syksyllä.

Sad to hear that man!
I hope you get the decision soon, this is really demotivating.
Nonetheless, your life is not stuck without citizenship and at least you have PR.

Visited migri: 15.06.2023
Initial queue number: 67xx (it went up first few weeks)

Wow, another example of super fast processing! And you received an SMS on a Saturday? Could migri be working overtime?
Seriously though, congratulations!!!
