Income requirement question for citizenship (spouse savings)

Hi, I have just passed the YKI so I am gathering my docs together for the citizenship application. Perhaps someone can help me with a question concerning the income requirement.

I do gig work with an agency and some work under my Toiminimi but my spouse has decent savings and we want to include those too. I have read Migri accepts the applicant's own savings but do they accept spouse's bank accounts statements showing their savings as part of the income requirement section?

In addition, during periods when my personal income has been low or non existent we have used my spouses income (or saving) to help. Does Migri require proof of this even if it is for a few weeks or months?
