Hi

I’ve noticed that these days Migri is quite active for the old applications: I have been in the process almost 17 months and the queue didn’t move significantly over past 3 months, but now I’ve noticed that the queue has started moving at 15 places/day, which is a nice progress. My queue number now is 254x, which is already a great progress
I can confirm. When I checked last week, I was at 24xx. There seems to be more movement these days. Fingers crossed, though I'm not expecting any miracles.
Did you apply in August? 😇
I most certainly did / August 2022

Whelp, 7 weeks and I just made it to the 79XXs! (Celebrating the small victories) :P
I think I started somewhere between 8300 - 8500 during second week of December.
Maybe the OGs can comment if that's normal progress or not?
At least I know my immediate jump to stage 2 is not normal..

This week's stats:
Total processed ~196
Processed with queue number > 4000: ~128
Approximate diary range of applications with queue number > 4000: (9800-10100)/310/2023

Despite the fact that older applications saw faster queue moving speed, I don't see anything unusual on the graph.
Hopefully the pace for older applications will continue to be as it is now or faster.

Thank you!

Interesting correlation, every week you count how much application has been processed with queue number over 4000, and this number almost matches how much my application moved:
This week it moved for 127 places, previous it was 101 for me (103 processed >4000), and week before that my application moved for 124 places when overall 122 applications >4000 has been processed.

I think this means that at least applications >4000 are in a separate queue.

Guys, who have a number less than 4000, how far has your application progressed this week?

i am in the 28xx range and my application moved 40 places exactly. it is a significant improvement for me, it usually moves around 20 per week

I emailed them during the fall, thinking of doing it again now just because why not. Back then they just gave a typical response that every case is different and told to wait for 20 months, so that didn’t provide any new information. What about you? Have you contacted?

I applied on the 4th of December and visited Oulu service point on the 5th of December. When I checked Kamu two or three Days later I was 8500 on the queue but as at today I am 7918 on the queue. We hope for the best and hope that within six months we will get a decision.

Noniin!
We are quite close in the que and approx. same application/service point visit date. I did things in Tampere so I guess service point really doesn't matter.

Did you get to stage 2 yet?

based on migri website 80 percent of the rejections are because people are applying too early or trying to exempt from the yki testi
Hi. Could you share a link for this? I tried the stats page https://tilastot.migri.fi/#decisions?l=en but the reason for negative decision is not appearing. Kiitos!
