Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
So anyone who submits application by 31st July should not be affected?Aasinkinttu wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 11:49 amAccording to the freshly provided information, which can be read immediately above your asked and answered question; no.applicant2024 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 9:25 amHi,

Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
They have not actually passed the new law yet, just proposed it for discussion. So do not write the date in your diary just yet.
Also bear in mind that you often have to visit the migri office after an online application to show your documents etc and you do not enter the processing queue until the visit (not when you submit the form). They should hopefully clarify this closer to the date (if the law is indeed passed).
Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
Thanks for the updates! How do I read this chart properly if my diary number is 3xx/310/2023? I applied in Jan 2023 and my current queue number is 35xxjust_passing_by wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 2:49 pmThis week's stats:
Total processed: ~174
Total processed with queue >4000: ~118
Approximate processing range with queue >4000: 10600/310/2023 - 10800/310/2023
In other words, nothing really new.

Could you let me know what is y axis here? kiitosjust_passing_by wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 10:47 amX axis shows queue number.
You can project your queue position onto the graph and see where your application is.
I post this graph mostly to show which applications Migri processes currently and where they are situated on the graph, because it was discovered a while ago that Migri does not only process applications in the head of the queue, but also takes applications from the middle of the queue at ~5000 queue mark.

Nope, When I came here that time I had 4 years Germany schengen visa.
Re: Applying for Citizenship 2024
Schengen visa is a tourist visa. Migri estimate time for your case is 29 months. I came here from Hong Kong, before coming, I went to finnish embassy in Hong Kong, applied for a residence permit, got it in 2 months, after that went to Finland, so for my case estimate is 21 monthsIndian_Dude wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2024 8:27 pm
