People who applied in 2022, please share your diary number (first 2 numbers),
lets see if there is a pattern

Applied November 2022 - diary number 10xxx/310/2022
Hi!

August, 30 and identity check on 1.9.2022 - number is 78xx

we have to make a group for the 2022 people 😂
but it has been long time since anyone from 2022 got a decision, or maybe people just stop posting

How about those 2023 folks who have gotten their decisions in the 6000+ queue?

Can y'all tell a bit about how long it took? For example approx start date and queue number and end date and queue number?

Perhaps include first 2 digits of the diary number too?

I hear you.

Only a miniscule fraction of citizenship applicants post here or perhaps even know about the forum. The thousands of others are waiting it out and complaining to anyone who will listen.

I’m confused how everyone seems to have much higher diary numbers than me. I applied in January 2023 and my diary number is only 6xx/310/2023 (queue number currently 32xx). Does it mean something that I have such a small diary number? 🤔

Diary numbers start again every year. You applied in January - your number is small.

My application went on 2nd stage 3 weeks ago after 6 months of waiting to process.

However I haven’t heard any single thing from Migri, no contact, no supplement request, nothing. I am starting to think that they have either forgot me or put me on the eternal queue. I called migri but they just say that I have to wait…

Anyone heard any experience somehow sounds like this?

I recall in this thread someone in the same situation has submitted further recent payrolls to the application and after that their applications are processed. Not sure if it is a coincidence or if this method helps.

Just got my decision, funny coincidence when I was finally fed up and opened up here

This was a truly painful and nervous process starting all the way from YKI tests. I would like to thank everyone in this forum who provided every little bit of information and support. And I wish a speedy process to all 2022 applications.

Here is some info on my case for data purposes:

Came in 2018 as a student with B permit
Got my first full time job and A permit(work) in 2020
Passed YKI in March 2023.
Applied citizenship in September 2023 (queue number 8002)
Moved to second stage early March 2023 (queue number 5500~)

Finnish spouse and 1 year of unemployment due to layoffs.

Got the decision today.

Great. Congratulations!!! An optimistic news for me who is also nervous waiting these days even though my queue is just around 57xx. I am also some sort of same background as came in 2018 as student, consistently pay tax since 2019 as trainee and 2020 as permanent employee. Hope to hear good news soon.

Congratulations and thank you for your wishes for the 2022 people (we need it)
just a question for info: if you are unemployed when you apply, should you provide any documents, or does migri get that info directly from Kela
