Getting married in Finland on tourist visa
Re: Getting married in Finland on tourist visa
Hi I know this post is a little bit old but want to try my luck. I have a partner(same sex) and I am planning to apply her under me as dependent. I am on student visa, will it be possible to get married here in Finland if she holds a tourist visa? Or will it be safe to get married say Denmark and then bring the paper in Finland to be registered? Kiitos!

Anyone can get married in Finland. The only restriction is if it is illegal for you to get married in your home country, you cannot get married in Finland, e.g. if you are a same sex couple and same sex marriage is illegal in your home country.
