Hi all,

I’ve followed this forum just recently but found your inputs super useful. Since I just got a decision this Tuesday 4 Jun 2024, so I decided to share my info here, hopefully it helps you all somehow.
- I applied on 9 Nov 2023, and wasn’t requested to go to Migri.
- received a diary number on 15 Nov 2023
- moved to stage 2 on 4th Jun 24, and just 20’ later I got the decision without any requests for additional information.

I was just laid off in May, and haven’t received the unemployment fund yet by the time the decision arrived. I actually sent a letter to Migri to update about my employment status in advance.

I hope you all will get good news really soon I got worried when my employment status was not going well, but things worked out at the end. So please stay positive and wait for it .

Hi, when you applied for citizenship, did you submit pay slips or just your employment contract?

Hi, Migri can check payslips but I still submitted the payslips and also employment contract.

I remember that the last 2 years, June was one the most productive month, and July was the least productive one. You can double check on mirgi statistic. I think that soon around this month, we will heard more news of 2023 applications.

Hi ! Is anyone know about my case I am waiting still waiting for decision and my baby had born. I had join my baby to my application already but now it’s turning my baby 2 month . My question is do I can wait until decision or I should apply resident permit to her I still not requested from my home country passport or birth certificate to her. My waiting time is already 26month for now still no any decision from imigri . In my case anyone can advise that what I should do ?I will be so glad to here it thank you

I just wanted to share that I got positive decision yesterday. I had been waiting for it since last year July — so, it took ~11 month. My wife, who applied in December, got decision yesterday as well. We came from Russia in 2018. I’d say our case is quite ordinary, except last 2 years probably when we had a lot of doubts if it was gonna be the same process for us or not.

Does this means that it’s confirmed that I have to wait 23 month and that I won’t have an answer before that ?? I have applied the 1/10/2023 .
