I am in the reconsideration period of a divorce from my soon ex wife. She was my financial support, for future reference here. She one day just left our flat to "get sober," then decided to stop helping me with anything financially. Then she moved out entirely to live at her boyfriend's place. It was quite cold and unexpected even if I knew her drinking was out of control.
I read this from the Suomi website: "The spouses have a mutual maintenance obligation. Both spouses must take responsibility for their joint financial affairs and also support each other financially."
So does this no longer apply when the reconsideration period begins? If it does still apply, then how can I get her to understand that she still has some sort of obligation to help me?

If you are eligible for legal aid, you can get legal services that way.LudvigBorga wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 5:25 pmI am in the reconsideration period of a divorce from my soon ex wife. Thank you, but could you please elaborate? Often these kinds of disputes can only be resolved through the courts. A lawyer is best positioned to evaluate what you are entitled to or not. Then you decide whether you want to pursue the matter or not.LudvigBorga wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2024 1:40 amThank you, but could you please elaborate?
